- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪The staff don't use initiative. You ask a simple important question they can't answer, and say I don't know. I say ask the practice manager or GP and get back to me, they say er, ok I'll try. I ask to speak to the practice manager for clarification, and she tells me a time to ring. I say that time is not suitable for me can you pass a message on - er not sure is the answer. I ask can I ring the practice manager at another time to be told oh yes sure she is in all day!! Why not tell me that before? Something on my medical record is not correct, can she ask the practice manager and let me know next week when i call in, er not sure is the reply! I asked about a blood test and she could not tell me anything and did not know how to find out or who to ask. Come and see the doctor she said. Why, i'm not ill doesn't the doctor have ill patients to see? Your documentation is wrong, why do I need to see a doctor unnecessarily? Do I need to fast or not for a diabetic test - oh yes fast definitely she says. Are you sure I ask as the doctor did not say to fast? Cant you find out and let me know I ask? I have since found out I did not need to fast so her information and advice was incorrect. Waste of space, give the job to somebody who cares and knows what they are doing without guessing.
